Chloe Sims addresses jungle rumours

As we gear up for the next series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! the press are speculating which famous faces could be heading into the jungle.

Earlier this week it was reported by The Mirror that four female cast members of The Only Way is Essex are battling it out to compete for a place on the show.

Chloe Sims, Ferne McCann, Gemma Collins and Jessica Wright are all said to be desperate to land a place on the hit ITV1 show. However Chloe Sims has stated that she will not be entering the jungle.

A fan tweeted Elliot Wright's ex asking if the rumours were true and she replied, 'nooo they are not Hun'.

Oh well, that just leaves Ferne, Gemma and Jessica in the running!

Which TOWIE girl would you like to see in the jungle?

Kimye made Vogue: look who's laughing now

Kim and Kanye's American Vogue cover. Image source: dailymail.co.uk

Kim Kardashian has finally achieved her dream of becoming a US Vogue cover girl as her joint cover with her soon to be hubby, Kanye West on the April edition has been revealed to the world. And it's rather spectacular.

One gets the feeling that this is allowing us an exclusive preview of the kind of wedding dress Kim may end up wearing for her upcoming wedding as she models a strapless meringue style dress on the front cover with Kanye nuzzling into her neck behind her.

This cover is not without controversy. For months, reports have suggested that Kanye was on a campaign to get his Mrs on Vogue and has spent the last year or so twisting US Vogue editor, Anna Wintour's arm. Well apparently her arm didn't need to be twisted, she could already forsee the great cover that America's biggest stars would make as an extract from her editor's letter reveals that Kanye never begged because she already saw the potential in the couple as cover stars.

There are many who are shocked at this cover, my Twitter timeline tells me this. But as a trainee magazine journalist I can see the logic in the decision to put Kimye on the cover, they're two Americans who have individually worked hard for their success and have battled through the media storms they've faced and come out the other side.

Putting them on the cover is a smart business move for Wintour, she knows exactly what she's doing. This cover will get talked about, whether it's in a good or a bad way and that's all a magazine editor can hope for, that their cover generates a buzz.

Yes, there will be some that stick up their noses at this cover but I don't see what's wrong with it. It's refreshing to have a curvy, reality star on the front cover rather than the same old lanky 'model-actress'. Every now and then magazine covers need a bit of diversity and this is exactly what this cover is, different.

This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even…

Has TOWIE lost its mojo?

TOWIE cast double dating (from left to right): Ricky Rayment, Jess Wright, newcomer Danielle Armstrong and James Locke. Image source: dailymail.co.uk

The Only Way Is Essex is back and only a couple of episodes into the new series and rumours of cheating are floating in the Essex air. Did or didn't James Locke cheat on girlfriend and TOWIE newcomer Danielle Armstrong?

Anyway, regardless of this mini scandal I can't help but think that familiar themes are dominating this series of TOWIE. Girlfriend gets tweets that her boyfriend has allegedly cheated, boyfriend denies it, girlfriend doesn't believe it. This is not an original storyline is it? Haven't we seen this before?

Oh yeah, Ricky Rayment cheats on Jess Wright and then gets tweets relating to this. Yep, I think we have seen this before. The show is starting to make it look like cheating is rife in Essex or to be more specific, Brentwood which I have to say, is unfair for the people from Brentwood who have never betrayed their partner.

This storyline is beginning to dominate the new series which will become rather tiresome. I would rather know now whether James Locke cheated than wait until Sunday's episode. In fact, this story is dominating to the point where I can't recall what else is going on in TOWIE.

Yes good old Bobby Norris has decided to go through with his adoption plans, but why can't we see more footage about this? This is more of an interesting and original story than cheating. Bobby making the brave decision to adopt and become a single parent is an intriguing new development and should be followed.

Samantha Faiers has just been diagnosed with Crohn's disease. If the producers focused on this in the coming episodes then the show would help to raise awareness for a disease we hear little about. By talking about Crohn's in detail, Sam will be able to bring comfort to those suffering from the disease that they are not alone.

TOWIE better pick up and drop its repeated cheating scandals or I may tune out. Let's hope that other storylines get a decent amount of coverage in the coming weeks.

What do you think? Are you sick of cheating scandals dominating TOWIE's storylines?

Tinder Review - what's this all about?

A collection of awkward Tinder messages. Image credit: uk.askmen.com

Tinder is all over the place at the moment. You can barely walk from one room to the next without someone saying something about the hot, new dating app.

A few of my friends recently persuaded me that I needed to download Tinder on my phone. After going through the initial 'Why on earth would I go on a dating website?' stage, I finally succumbed to the addiction that is Tinder.

Tinder is a very simple concept. The app tunes in to your location and and shows you photos of Tinder users in the nearby area. You then have to either 'like' or 'nope' this person.

Once you have 'liked' someone if they have liked your photo too then you become a 'match' and you're able to speak to one another.

This app is incredibly judgmental - you are essentially, like any other dating website, selecting someone based on what they look like. So what did I do? I decided to treat this app with caution.

Once some matches had gone through I was shocked at the stream of messages I got from horny guys asking me what I was doing that night.

In disbelieve I read this messages, shocked that someone would ask a stranger out on a date after speaking to them for less than 10 minutes.

No human interaction is involved in this at all and yet some twit has already decided that you're the 'babe' he wants to have coffee with (and probably something else as well).

Is this what dating in the modern age has come to? A few likes of a pictures leads to a few dates? Is this social networking gone mad? Whilst same people seriously use this app, I can only see the fun and humorous side to it. What ever happened to the good old fashioned boy meets girl?
